About Stanley Roubaix

I passed my driving test at 23 and 15 minutes later I drove away to London with the hope of never coming back. This was my first true leap of faith.
I was homeless in London for some time, sleeping in the back of a shop and working for food. I eventually got real work and started to work on a life. I decided to test myself and took a flight to Cairo on my own. I had nothing booked and had to improvise at the other end. I a couple of thousand miles traveling all over Egypt. Another big leap.

In 2004 I decided to sell up and move to Ireland.
I bought a small farm house and started learning construction and farming. While there I retrained in counseling. The 2008 recession trapped me there for another 6 years before I could move back to the UK in 2014.

I started going to comicons dressed as all sorts of crazy stuff.
I overcame my loathing of being photographed this way.
That led me to working in promotions at events.
I would interact with hundreds (sometimes thousands) of people in a single day. I worked on stage talking about products and services.
Big crowds and 121’s all over the UK.

From there it led me to acting and directing.
I’m on Netflix in a documentary called NFT:WTF and on Amazon on Devils Familiar. I also have a movie I wrote and directed on Amazon called Teddy and the Mountain.

At this stage I can work with crowds, talk to anyone and do just about anything. 99% better than I could. But even now I still have things to work on. It will never end, we are all a work in progress.
